Cassie and Diddy have called it quits.
According to E! News the pair have been split for months now. The couple have allegedly been on and off for over a decade, and neither have yet to comment on the rumor. Cassie, a 32 year old singer and model, was originally signed to Diddy’s Bad Boy Records in the early 2000’s. Over the years the couple have remained extremely lowkey not confirming their relationship till 2012 which allegedly began in 2007. The music icons have denied engagement rumors twice but for the most part they are both known for being seen and not heard, meaning as fans we always see them together but barely know much about their relationship.
Sean “Diddy” Combs a father of six expressed interest in starting a family with Cassie back in January. In an interview on The Breakfast Club he admitted that he wanted two more kids, only with the singer. A source told People Magazine that “the decision was amicable and they remain friends.” They added that Cassie would be focusing on her acting and singing career. It is not clear if this split will be permanent considering the couple seemed to truly be in love. Back in June, Combs stated, on The Wendy Williams Show, that he was “In love now.”
