Exactly what you would expect from a Juice WRLD project. 21 one songs at face value seems like a lot but at only 55 minutes it is not too long. He sounds great, the songs are good and this is well put together. Fans of his, this style of music and just fans of music in general will love this album. Great melodies, great tracks, smooth all around. This is definitely an album a lot of people, me included will be going back to time and time again.
New 5 song EP from the Interscope singer is exactly what you would expect from Summer Walker. Down tempo, slow vibe, love inspired, sexual lyrics, and features from No1-Noah and Partynextdoor all fit together perfectly. Her fan will love this and be going back to this ep for multiple listens.Other listeners will enjoy this project as well. This is the strong sexual R&B vibe to listen to with your girl or man. A good strong showing, and one I will be going back to.
Kid Cudi returns after a long hiatus with a surprise feature from Eminem. Cudi shows he still has it even after all this time, and of course Eminem shows off his lyrical ability. If you are a fan of either of these artists it is one you will be going back to. It is a good listen but as only a single may not have a ton of replay value. Both admitting to their past issues its a good showing from both and exactly what you expect from Eminem and Cudi.
The R&B singer is back with an island inspired single. Letting her man know that he has a hook in her, and she loves everything he does to her. “Hooked on your love” this island vibe R&B track is one to listen too while relaxing with the one who does it to you.
A short 7 song, 23 minute project from the super producer is exactly what you would expect after seeing the title Dinner Party. Smooth tracks, nice vocals, mellow instruments and of course the overall awesome production creates a chill-out vibe. This is the perfect project to play at a dinner party, a cookout, or a kick back. Fans of Terrace will be pleased with the project, fans of this type of music will be rushing back to this music, and if we are ever allowed back outside to hang out with people in the backyard or at the beach, this is the music for those occasions. Cant forget to mention how much I love the horns and the sax on this entire album.
New single from the R&B singer is defiantly one that fans of hers will be going back to. A nice R&B love song it is what you would expect from here and a great showing. I hope this is leading up to something more, but for now this will be a good listen in rotation.
I wouldn’t expect anything less from a Passport Gift and Parks album. Real hip-hop, lyrics, real rap. An album that has sequencing that has one track lead into and flow into the next just like an album should. 11 songs, 21 minutes is a good length, not too long not to short and still enough to get the point across and keep you engaged all the way through. It is not often anymore that you see an album sequenced with each song flowing into the next at all none the less as seamlessly as this album does. If your a fan of real hip-hop, real rap, lyrics and stories, this album is for you. This is for sure one I will be going back to multiple times.
A different sounding album from the rest of this list, this is definitely a newer younger sounding album. It is a good sounding album, with the newer sounding bounce and lyrical melodies. Fans of both Casey and Rockie will like this album. For me with all the other music released today it is not necessarily something I will be going back to, don’t get me wrong I like the sound and the construction of the album, but it is a certain vibe I have to be in to go back to this album. Fans will be pleased and no one will be disappointed.
Che Noir shows her lyrical ability on every track on this album. Another real hip-hop album that fans of the genre will be flocking back to. This is one that you have to sit with to catch every lyrical and word meaning. Off one listen you won’t catch everything with the intricate lyrics, but it is a great listen. One that I will be going back to. Features from Black Thought, Ty Farris, Planet Asia and Skyzoo fit perfectly in the sound and vibe of this album, the songs are put together perfect and the sequencing is amazing. Love to hear real lyrical rap.
