[Music] [Entertainment] Culture Forecast: What to Watch and Listen for Going Into the Weekend

Everyone knows that the weekend starts on Friday and tomorrow we have quiet the slate of new music coming. There is some appointment viewing this weekend too, so without further ado, here’s everything you need to know about what’s coming this weekend.

Offset Album- 2/22

Offset has his first solo project due out tomorrow and the whole thing will be produced by star producers Metro Boomin’ and Southside.

Lil Pump Harverd Dropout– 2/22

The “Gucci Gang” rapper is dropping a 16-track album for his sophomore campaign with features that include: Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Wayne, Quavo, and 2Chainz.

Kehlani While We Wait- 2/22

The 23 year old R&B singer, who is pregnant with her first daughter due soon, is releasing a nine track record tomorrow as a follow up to her über-successful debut album SweetSexySavage.

Gunna Drip or Drown 2– 2/22


Atlanta rapper, Gunna is dropping his debut studio album following his mixtape success. His joint mixtape Drip Season with Lil Baby was one of the best releases of 2018, so heres to hoping Gunna brings it with his solo project.

“True Detective” Season 3 Finale- 2/24 (HBO)

If you haven’t been watching this season of True Detective you have a whole weekend to binge it and catch up in time for this Sunday’s finale. Mahershala Ali and Stephen Dorff are putting in tour-de-force performances as the two main leads, driven by great writing from Nic Pizzolatto.

91st Academy Awards- 2/24 (ABC)

The 91st Oscars are airing on Sunday night featuring films like Roma, The Favourite, Black Panther, A Star is Born, and many more. The nominated stars like Bradley Cooper, Lady Gaga, Christian Bale, Melissa McCarthy, Mahershala Ali, Emma Stone and others look to capture the industry’s most prestigious prize.
