Last night at his Tallahassee show, JID payed tribute to late rapper Mac Miller. JID and Miller were slated to go on tour this past fall before the untimely and tragic death of the Pittsburgh rapper. The death of Mac Miller sent shockwaves throughout the music community and his fans, leaving everyone to remember and reminisce on his artistry and the impact he left on the world as a person.

A fan at the show shot the video of JID playing “Come Back To Earth,” a song off of Miller’s final album “Swimming.” Fans can be heard singing along to the song while JID stood on stage, quietly singing along, looking as if he were still mourning his friend’s passing.
After each of his shows, JID has been playing Miller’s NPR Tiny Desk Concert, a show put on by artists at the NPR offices, meant to create a more intimate, relaxed show.
