While on tour for their new album Father of the Bride, Vampire Weekend played a concert in Indianapolis, Indiana in which they covered the Parks and Recreation theme song.

There are two reason why the band probably decided to do this. For one, the lead singer Ezra Koenig is married to former Parks and Rec star Rashida Jones and they just recently welcomed their first child in September. Second, Parks and Rec takes place in the fictional town of Pawnee, Indiana.
