Kodak Black was arrested Saturday for state and federal gun charges, and forced to cancel his set at The Rolling Loud Festival. Details about the arrest were scarce until TMZ obtained the two page court indictment that stated that Kodak knowingly made false statements when trying to buy firearms in January and March. Prosecutors said that the rapper successfully obtained a firearm in at least two of those incidents.
The lie was that Kodak was not currently under any investigation that could put him in jail which, of course, he was. He is currently in the middle of a criminal case over an alleged sexual result a teenage girl and if he is convicted, he could easily be put behind bars.
Kodak was picked up by police right before he was to take the stage at The Rolling Loud Festival in Miami. He is still in jail and is scheduled to face the judge Wednesday.
