ON THIS DAY IN HIP HOP : BIGGIE RELEASES “LIFE AFTER DEATH” 21 YEARS AGO

21 years ago today The Notorious B.I.G. released his second and final studio album Life After Death. Being one of the best hip hop albums of all time, it debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart, sold 690,000 copies in the first week & is certified diamond. It was also nominated for Best Rap Album at the Grammys. Hit songs on this album include “Hypnotize”, “Mo’ Money Mo’ Problems”, “Unbelievable”, Sky is The Limit” and more.
