[ONE OF THE GREATEST MINDS OF OUR CENTURY] STEPHEN HAWKING DIES

It was unfortunate he had to die on Pi day (March 14th), but the world has a way of sending us signs. He was truly a God among men and he will forever be remembered.

People took to Twitter to give their condolences:

R.I.P. Stephen Hawking. Among his many profound contributions to this world was this simple sentiment: “It would not be much of a universe if it wasn’t home to the people you love.” — Samantha Power (@SamanthaJPower) March 14, 2018

They said Stephen Hawking had 2 years to live in 1963. They said Stephen Hawking would never speak again in 1985. He stuck around until 2018 with one of the loudest voices on the planet. Nothing kept him from his dreams. We honor him by living the same way. — Adam Best (@adamcbest) March 14, 2018

Stephen Hawking was diagnosed with ALS at 21 & given just 2 years to live. Not only did he defy the odds for 52 years, even as his body failed him, his mind soared. I hope his meeting with the Universe was beyond even his wildest imagining. 💜 — Caissie (@Caissie) March 14, 2018

Stephen Hawking was born January 8, 1942, on the 300th anniversary of Galileo's death. He died today, March 14th, on the anniversary of Einstein's birth. Time is circular – no beginning, no end. — Warren Leight (@warrenleightTV) March 14, 2018

Rest in Peace Stephen Hawking you truly changed the world.
