“Stranger Things” star David Harbour has been cast in the upcoming “Hellboy” reboot. Neill Marshall, director of the 2005 horror film “The Descent” and some of the most iconic “Game of Thrones” episodes, is set to helm the remake.
In an exclusive to “Entertainment Weekly” the marketing team unveiled the first poster for next year’s film.
The poster looks pretty monstrous, with the demon’s creepy, ripped red body and wielding a flaming sword in front of a red, Hell-ish background with the caption “Legendary AF.”
Earlier this year, the first look at Harbour is full “Hellboy” costume was revealed, and combined with this first poster, it looks like he’s going to be a great fit. He looks more buff and, frankly, more ominous and foreboding that Ron Perlman’s take on the character.

Looking to be more “Logan” than “Venom” the studio has given the okay on an R-rated version of “Hellboy.” This will surely help differentiate between the two PG-13 rated Ron Perlman films.
“Hellboy”, which will costar Milla Jovovich and Ian McShane, is set to be released theatrically on April 12, 2019.
