[SPORTS] BRAWL EMERGES AT END OF NC STATE-NORTH CAROLINA

Another Reminder It’s Rivalry Week

It’s been a long year for the North Carolina Tarheels football program, and it ended with an ugly scene Larry Fodara’s team.

A brawl would take place following a game-winning touchdown score by NC State’s Reggie Gallaspy in overtime, with punches flying and shoving involved by both teams.

Following Gallaspy’s 1-yard touchdown run in overtime to give NC State a 34-28 victory at Kenan Stadium, the two teams would get into a shoving match coming out of a pile which would lead to punches soon being thrown by both teams.

NC State & UNC love us so much they not only went to OT but then got into a brawl after the game just to give us a few more minutes of Raycom Sports. pic.twitter.com/cTDHb71dyk — Timothy Burke (@bubbaprog) November 24, 2018

North Carolina (2-9) was coming off just their second win of the season in the previous game, with their effort today being a strong one vs a NC State team that improved to 8-3 on the season.

NC State will close out their regular-season next Saturday when they host East Carolina next Sunday at Carter-Finley Stadium.
