To wrap-up the end of 2020, Uncle Murda releases his annual “rap up” to sum up the controversy, loss, and comedy of 2020 in a 14-minute song produced by Great John. Uncle Murda starts the song by saying, “Definitely been a sad year, wasn’t even gone do this, but I figured y’all needed me after everything that been going on.”
Uncle Murda opens the song by discussing Kobe Bryant’s passing, sending condolences to Pop Smoke and King Von, sharing his own theories regarding coronavirus, the past 2020 Presidential Election, and other celebrity news and trending stories from the past year. After reminiscing over the passing of legends like Andre Harell and others, Uncle Murda adds, “The good die young / It really wasn’t his time / Him being dead / Tekashi still living is a crime.”
